Lab Summary

Research in our laboratory focuses on translating basic molecular insights into clinical applications in neuropsychiatric disorders and therapeutics. We integrate computational, biophysical, and pharmacological approaches to understand the structure-function relationships of key neuropsychiatric drug targets. Our research encompasses the following areas:

• Genetics and Precision Medicine — Investigating how genetic variation in drug targets influences drug responses and developing approaches to guide treatment strategies to individual patient profiles for improved efficacy and reduced side effects.
• Polypharmacology — Evaluating the effects of multi-targeted therapeutics in neuropsychiatric disorders.
• Drug Discovery — Discovery and design of novel compounds that target complex neuropsychiatric pathways and pharmacological targets.

By combining molecular-level insights, computational modeling, and pharmacological studies, our group aims to accelerate the development of safe, effective therapies for patients with mental disorders.
